I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts and shared my mother's love for horses. I am grateful that my mother was able to give me the experience of growing up with a horse of my

own, something I know not all little girls get to have. I spent hours flipping through Arabian horse magazines and cutting out pictures to paste into a scrapbook. What young horse fanatic didn't??
I was a budding artist through high school, and was accepted into the Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with my BFA in Photography in 1996.
I now devote my artistic talents into capturing my favorite subject, the horse and creating compelling horse photography. I reside in the Black Hills of South Dakota and have been in business for 5 years photographing a variety of breeds and several disciplines. I am available for events, farm shoots, portraits and stock imagery.
I specialize in creating new backgrounds for my equine subjects to help show them off at their best and to add a little drama!
I will always be an artist at heart and not only enjoy doing my photography and digitized art, but also enjoy creating beautiful ink paintings from my horse photographs . . .
