This week we allow IHPA member and Southern California resident Julie Blair, to tell everyone why she does what she does so well. To view past IHPA POTW simply click on the IHPA POTW link on the top bar. Week21 - Introducing Julie Blair My passion for horses began at an early age growing up in Lexington, Kentucky, where I worked with thoroughbred racehorses and showed both my own horses and others on the many show circuits in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. If I wasn't riding, I was drawing, painting and creating illustrations of horses and was obsessed with them throughout my younger years.
Combining my passion for photography as well as my love of horses was the next logicial step. Horses, are playful, graceful, and have a special spiritual connection with humans. They are magnificent, proud and have keen instincts that can humble us in many ways and bring out the best in us. The perfect day for me is when I am behind the camera, and there is a horse in my viewfinder. I aim to capture your horses spirit, grace and strength through my photography and provide you with imagery that reflects its individuality and character. The main focus of my business is portraiture, editorial, advertising, fine art and of course, farm shoots. Please contact me through my website and visit my galleries here |
