Week9 Introducing Stacey Boyne

Why Horses?

Because, for as long as I can remember I have loved them. As a young girl I read , dreamed, and fantasized, about them and grabbed every opportunity to be in their presence. As an adult no matter where I was, I would go out of my way to catch a glimpse of them. These magnificent, spirited, life changing beings have been a part of my soul since day one. Stacey Boyne Horse ShotJust being around horses makes me a better person. In 1997 I received a degree in Illustration and Advertising photography from Brook's Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA.. I discovered home when I finally crossed my passion for horses with the expressive medium of photography. Only in the presence of horses have I acheived enlightenment and only through the lens have I been able to express the pure essence of my spirit. When two of my images were recently auctioned for a sum greater than $2,500.00 the message was very clear and Wild Spirit Art came into being. The main purpose of WSA is to help create a more harmonious, peaceful, beautiful world for generations to come, just like the horse has done for centuries, and continues to do.

What are your goals?
Through Wild Spirit Art, I hope to continue to create compelling and inspiring art work through a photographic medium that not only supports organizations and groups doing life changing work, but to also spark within the viewer the passion to act out of inherent goodness and compassion. I hope to create my art work for a lifetime , to share it with others, and to use it for the betterment of all kinds.
